its been a while,
such a long journey with never ending miles. feels like forever since i first touch down here in edmonton, eh no, kedahton it seems. went through two different semesters, watched different seasons passed by,met different people with different backgrounds, different surroundings with different coldness, and when there were too many differences, one word crossed my mind, - H.A.R.D.S.H.I.P !
being here taught me 1001 things that cant just be described by words. the smiles carved in friendships, the annoyance , the intimidation, the guilts, the regrets, the gratefulness, the lonliness, the willingness to be there for those close to you, and the fact that there are people who are willing to do so for you too, all of these are undeniably hard to be compressed in a long written words.ive always thought of this experience as my own version of "the road not taken". regret seems like the only unconditionally word used in everyday lives. from the moment i chose not to wear black and white as my formal attire, that was the moment i learnt the word regret.but that's how it works. life is an opportunity cost. no one's got it all.
