I always thought my decision four years ago to leave my home country was purely because of educational purposes. Study, get used to the weather, get a degree and after four years, thats it. bon voyage. 

but then again, each and every single day spent was another case of learning. be it for academic, or non academic, what you experience and what you take in make a new you. I learn sense of independency, and i learn that we need people too sometimes. Either way, life is about balancing both. having people, and having time for yourself. four years ago, getting used to foreign culture was a difficult thing to do;

1) cant really understand their fancy ways of saying things that maybe are not too fancy in the first place

2) to their bubbly and individualistic way that perhaps, im longing for right now

3) their politeness that i think im actually running out of those in my surrounding

4) their ways of saying thank you and sorry that people can be too ignorant of saying those magic words
