Happy New Year everybody. Nobody is getting younger, and I would love to dedicate 100 percent of this goodness believing that it is already a good start- New year, new day, new hope and eventually, new us!
I am thrilled to be figuring out what 2017 has in store for me but more than just checking the store out, I can't wait to see what I can actually offer in 2017. Guess my age- SCREAM! Not getting any younger, but blessed. That is the word to simplify how I simply feel when I bow down to God and think of the things He has been generously granting me with- family, friends, job, shelter and good ness in life.
But uh-well humans, even with so many blessings in life, we keep wanting more, we keep searching for more. If materials are not the things we look for, we long for other worldly attachments, we keep searching and it is easy to sum up that contentment is really really hard to achieve as we grow older. Nobody is any longer simply contented with the smell of the rain nor nobody is simply contented with the ample times we are granted in this world. In fact, enough is just another fallacy of word we're living with.
If only I can keep reminding my 26 years old self that the fact I'm gifted with another day to make it count- is already a huge blessing.
May we all find the contentment we're all looking for, may we all take the time to becoming less judging, and may we all realize that life is short and sweet- so lets live.
